Euromedic Ireland, in association with the GAA, is currently offering GAA members special reduced rates in diagnostic imaging across all of its Irish centres. Euromedic Ireland realises the importance that swift and accurate injury diagnosis play in an athlete's career, and our aim is to help each player on their road to recovery, so they can return rapidly to winning ways on the pitch.
How does the scheme work?

Euromedic Appointment Centre,
Haddington House,
Haddington Road,
Dublin 4,
Ireland - On arrival at the chosen Euromedic Centre, the player will present the necessary MRI Scan/X-Ray Request Form signed by his club or county secretary and medical doctor. All requests must be supported and signed off by registered medical practitioners.
- GAA - The player will pay the fee of €295 (MRI) or €50 (X ray) and claim reimbursement through the GAA Player Injury scheme, subject to the rules of the scheme. If the player has private medical insurance (e.g. VHI Healthcare) the necessary claim form for these insurers will be completed and no fee will be collected. (Please note that travel and accommodation expenses are not covered).
- Ladies Gaelic Football Association ("LGF") - Euromedic Ireland has been awarded the status of "Preferred provider" with the LGF. This status is a unique association between Euromedic Ireland and the LGF and includes a direct payment facility for all Euromedic Ireland's centres (with the exception of Belfast). For the player involved , this means that all bills for approved scans will be settled directly between the LGF and Euromedic Ireland and they will not have to pay for their scan on the day. If the player has private medical insurance (e.g. VHI Healthcare) the necessary claim form for these insurers will be completed and no fee will be collected. (Please note that travel and accommodation expenses are not covered).
- GAA Clubs can claim reimbursement of €235 of the €295 through their G.A.A. Insurance.
- When does the player get the results? The radiologist (specialist imaging consultant) will write a report to your referring doctor detailing the findings from the scan. The report will be sent to your referring doctor usually within 48 hours.
